I am going on 6 years since I last saw my family, the plan was to go home this spring by driving there. I live in Ontario and my parents live in Nova Scotia. We did have a car up till about 3 weeks ago when someone decided to turn left into us on our way to a medical appointment. I couldn't believe it. I really want to go and see my parents, I want them to meet the love of my life and him to meet them. I know there are lots of people who's need is far greater then mine. I just have deep fears of never getting to see them again, they are not that old but my father has a series of illnesses and I hope that he will be fine until I can see him again. I am 29 yrs old and I messed up alot of my youth by taking drugs and partying, its going on 3 years since I've done any of that, and my parents remember me all messed up. I would love a chance to go there and show them how much I've changed mentally. I am living for the day now, and I am trying my hardest to better myself. I guess in short, what I really would like is someone to hear this wish that has a car that may need a little work (my fiance is very car smart) and is willing to help my wish come true. My fiance works and I am taking a Veternarian Assistant course and I doing quite well. As it is though, we have to afford the gas and food for the trip, we think we can manage this but adding a car to the mix is just too much to pull out of our pockets.
